Man Arrested After Fatal London Crash Kills Woman and Her Dogs
A 30-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving following a tragic crash in west London. He was taken into custody and later released on bail until late June.
Early Morning Horror on Cheyne Walk
At 6:21am on Saturday, 14 May, police rushed to Cheyne Walk, SW3, after reports of a car-pedestrian collision. Accompanied by London Ambulance Service paramedics, officers arrived to find Olivia Riley, 41, from Suffolk, fatally injured at the scene.
Olivia was out walking her three beloved golden retrievers when the crash happened. Sadly, the dogs also died from their injuries.
Driver in Custody and Court Date Set
The 26-year-old driver was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. He was later released on bail and is due to appear in court in late June.
