Man Charged With Murder After Leyton Shooting
Detectives have charged Liridon Saliuka, 29, with murder following a fatal shooting in Leyton. Saliuka, who has no fixed address, faces charges including possession of a firearm and grievous bodily harm with intent.
Deadly Attack at Phoenix Club
The charges relate to the death of Grineo Daka, who was shot outside the Phoenix Club on Lea Bridge Road shortly before 3am on Sunday, 7 July. Police were called to reports of gunfire and found Daka with a gunshot wound.
Suspect to Appear in Court
Saliuka is set to appear in custody at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 17 July. Homicide detectives from the Specialist Crime Command are continuing their investigation.
