Young Man Charged with Murder After Hospital Stabbing
Justice Beckford, 22, from Lambeth, was charged with murder on Sunday, 18 December. He is set to appear in custody at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 19 December.
Stabbing at King’s College Hospital
Just before 5am on Saturday, 10 December, police officers attending a separate incident at King’s College Hospital in Denmark Hill found a man named Abraham suffering from stab wounds outside the hospital.
Despite officers administering first aid and emergency medics rushing Abraham into hospital care, he tragically died a short time later.
Investigation Underway
A post-mortem at Greenwich Mortuary on Sunday, 11 December, confirmed the cause of death as stab injuries.
