Man Arrested for Obstructing Justice in High-Profile Murder Case
Clifford Rollex, 30, from Percival Street, Islington, was arrested on Wednesday, 28 October. He faces charges of perverting the course of public justice. Rollex was due to appear at Highbury Magistrates’ Court the very next day, Thursday, 29 October.
Three Swedish Men Nabbed in Extradition Hunt
On Thursday, 8 October, three men aged 22, 31, and 33 were detained in Stockholm and Vaxjo, Sweden. The arrests came under a UK European Arrest Warrant (EAW), and the trio are currently battling extradition through Sweden’s courts.
Murder Victim Killed on Christmas Eve 2019
Flamur, 36, was fatally stabbed on the evening of Tuesday, 24 December 2019, at Battersea Church Road in Wandsworth, SW11. Anis Fouad Hemissi, 23, a Swedish national, has been charged with Flamur’s murder.
Hemissi was extradited from Denmark back to the UK in June. He is set to face trial at the Old Bailey on Tuesday, 1 December.
