Manhunt Underway After Two Bodies Found in Westminster
Police have launched a frantic hunt for Lee Peacock after two people were found dead at separate homes in Westminster.
Detectives urgently want to speak to Peacock, releasing his image and urging the public for tips.
Knife Attack Claims Lives of Woman and Man
Officers rushed to Ashbridge Street, NW8, at 9.34pm on Thursday, 19 August, following concerns for a 45-year-old woman’s welfare. They found her with a fatal knife injury. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Just hours later, at 2.15am on Friday, 20 August, police responded to reports of a man with a knife wound on nearby Jerome Crescent, NW8. The 59-year-old was confirmed dead by paramedics.
Next of kin for both victims have been informed and are receiving support. Formal ID and post-mortems are pending.
Detectives Appeal for Information: “Do Not Approach”
Detective Chief Inspector Wayne Jolley said: “If you know where Lee Peacock is, call 999 immediately. Do not approach him.”
“We are keeping an open mind on the motive but are treating these attacks as linked. Anyone who saw suspicious activity around Ashbridge Street or Jerome Crescent overnight must come forward.”
Community on Edge – Police Boost Patrols
Westminster Police Chief Detective Superintendent Owain Richards warned residents: “We understand this will shock and concern locals. Crime scenes are in place, and extra patrols are on duty to keep the area safe.”
