Teen Woman Injured in Late-Night Assault at Lordshill District Centre
Nightfall Brawl Leaves Young Woman Hurt
Just after midnight on 18 September 2021, trouble flared at Lordshill District Centre. Around 12:16 am, a young woman in her late teens suffered facial injuries near the mini roundabout between the petrol station and the library car park.
18-Year-Old Man Arrested Over Assault
Police quickly arrested an 18-year-old man on suspicion of assault causing actual bodily harm. He’s also been charged with breaching a criminal behaviour order. The suspect has been granted conditional bail until 20 October while investigations continue.
Witnesses Urgently Needed
Officers are keen to speak to the driver and passengers of a black truck spotted at the scene, as well as a woman in a white dress caught on CCTV. They may hold key information to crack the case.
