Dover Scumbag Nabbed for Burglaries and Charity Box Theft Spree
A 34-year-old Dover man has been charged with a string of shocking thefts – including stealing charity boxes meant to help others.
Jason McRobbie’s Crime Spree
Jason McRobbie, from Squires Way, Dover, faces six charges of burglary and theft after being arrested on Monday 20 August. The offences span over two months and involve several locations across the town.
Stealing from Shops, Museums, and Hotels
- He nicked a box and a can of cider from a shop on Bewsbury Cross Lane on Friday 17 August.
- Previously, on 27 July, he stole another can of cider from the same shop.
- On 16 June, McRobbie pinched a camera from a local museum.
- He also stole a charity box from a hotel on Deal Road on 29 July.
Burglaries at Buckland Hospital
McRobbie is further accused of burglary after a purse and cash were reported stolen from the staff room at Buckland Hospital, Dover, on Saturday 18 August.
Next Steps in the Case
The accused has been bailed and will appear at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on 15 September.
