Glove Full of Drugs Sees Dealer Nabbed in Sea Road Sting
What started as a routine street stop ended with a major drugs bust when cops found 45-year-old Rico Walker loaded with class A narcotics. The no-fixed-address dealer was arrested on Sea Road last Thursday, 23 February 2023.
Glove Packed with Coke and Heroin
Walker was caught red-handed wearing a glove stuffed with multiple wraps of cocaine and heroin. A search of his home uncovered even more stash — including crack cocaine — with a street value topping £15,000.
Four Years Inside for Drug Dealing
Charged with possession of class A drugs with intent to supply, Walker pleaded guilty. On Friday, 23 January 2026, he was locked up for four years for his part in the dangerous trade.
Police Urge Locals to Come Forward
Sergeant David Carmichael of Bournemouth police said: “The supply of illegal drugs causes huge harm to our communities. We’re dedicated to cracking down on this dangerous trade. If you know anything about drug activity in your area, please get in touch online or call 101. If it’s an emergency, dial 999 immediately.”
