Drug Dealers Caught and Jailed After £28,000 Raid
Two South Norwood drug dealers have been locked up for a combined 7½ years after police stormed their home and seized a massive haul of cocaine and heroin worth £28,000.
Raid Uncovers Class A Drugs in Bedroom
On Monday 10 April 2017, officers executed a drugs warrant at a property on Parry Road. They found 19-year-old Tai Diedrick and 22-year-old Shaquille Boreland caught red-handed with significant quantities of class A drugs inside a bedroom.
During the raid, a plastic bag was thrown from the bedroom window containing drugs. Forensic analysis linked Diedrick’s fingerprints and Boreland’s DNA to the seized narcotics.
Jail Sentences Delivered at Woolwich Crown Court
Both men pleaded guilty to possessing controlled drugs with intent to supply. Diedrick was sentenced to four years and one month, while Boreland received three years and five months behind bars.
Police Crack Down on Dealers Targeting Vulnerable People
Investigating officer Detective Constable Daniel Bister said: “Kent Police works hard to bring drug dealers to justice and I’m pleased we’ve been able to get two more dealers off the streets. They were found with a large amount of drugs which would have been sold to a lot of vulnerable people. I hope these sentences act as a reminder to others that crime does not pay.”
