Drunken Yob Sparks Chaos on Heathrow Flight
A man from Ilford turned a routine flight into a nightmare after getting absolutely plastered and launching a savage attack on airline staff and a paramedic.
Wasted Passenger Throws Tantrum on Plane
Yogeshwar Sharma, from Lansdowne Road, Ilford, pleaded guilty at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court on Friday (Feb 13) to boarding a plane drunk, threatening behaviour, assaulting a paramedic, and smoking on board. The drama unfolded on November 25 last year during a flight bound for Delhi, India.
Prosecutor Kate Fassam-Wright revealed police were called after the crew flagged a “drunk and abusive male” onboard. Sharma hurled foul language and barked “I want to fight you” at airline staff once told he was too intoxicated to fly.
Refused to Exit, Vaped in Defiance, Then Attacked Medics
Sharma flat-out refused to leave the plane when asked. Ignoring orders, he lit up a vape mid-flight. When dragged off, he spat at officers before lunging at a paramedic and slugging them hard on the chin with a clenched fist.
