£500 Boost for Eastbourne Foodbank from Police Property Fund

£500 Donation for Eastbourne Foodbank

Last week, PCSO 35645 handed over a £500 cheque to Eastbourne Foodbank. The cash comes from the Police Property Act Fund (PPAF) and will support vital services in the local community.

More Than Just Food Aid

The foodbank provides three days’ worth of emergency food for people in crisis. But it’s not just about food. They also offer welfare and debt advice, plus signposting to local support groups. With eight pop-up locations, each has a safe space for clients to get help discreetly.

Where Does the Money Come From?

The Police Property Act Fund is made up of cash raised from selling found property and goods confiscated by court orders. These funds go directly to community projects run by local charities across Sussex.
