Young Man Dies After Being Found Seriously Injured Near Glasgow
A 23-year-old man has died in hospital after being found badly injured on a road north of Glasgow.
Kieran Found on Balmore Road
Kieran Paul Murray was discovered by members of the public on Balmore Road near the Allander Toll Roundabout at around 9:50pm on Wednesday. Emergency services rushed him to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with a serious head injury.
Tragically, Kieran was pronounced dead on Friday morning. His family have been informed and are devastated.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
“Kieran’s family are absolutely heartbroken and it is vital that we find out what happened to him,” said Detective Chief Inspector Gillian Grant from Police Scotland’s Major Investigation Teams.
“It’s still unclear how he ended up seriously injured on Balmore Road. Detectives are following several leads and need the public’s help.”
“If you were in the area on Wednesday night and saw anything suspicious, please come forward. Motorists with dash-cams should check their footage for anything relevant.”
“We urge anyone with information to do the right thing and contact police. A young man has lost his life and his family deserve answers.”
