Rising Knife Crime Fears in Croydon
This fatal attack has reignited deep concerns about knife crime in Croydon, following the high-profile murder of 22-year-old Rijkaard Siafa in April 2024 — mere metres from today’s scene. Two men have been jailed in connection with that case, but one suspect remains at large.

The investigation continues, with police urging anyone who saw the attack or has footage to step forward. Witnesses can contact the Met Police on 101, quoting the time and location. Alternatively, anonymous tips can be reported via Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111.
