Teen Charged Over Poplar Stabbing
A 15-year-old boy has been charged following a violent stabbing on Upper North Street, Poplar, E14. He was arrested on Sunday, 12 January, on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm (GBH) and charged early Monday morning, 13 January.
Victim in Critical Condition
The victim, a 16-year-old boy, remains in hospital in a critical but stable condition. The teenager accused is set to appear at Stratford Youth Court later today.
Police Hunt for Witnesses
The Central East Command Unit is leading the investigation. Officers are urging anyone with information to come forward.
