New Arrest in Southall Murder Investigation
Detectives have arrested a 26-year-old man in connection with the fatal stabbing of 22-year-old Sufi Osman Abdullah in Southall. The suspect was taken into custody on Wednesday, 23 October, on suspicion of murder but has since been released on bail as inquiries continue.
Three Charged Over Sufi’s Murder
This latest arrest follows charges against three men accused of the killing:
- Samater Hirad, 21, of no fixed address, charged 26 September with murder and possession of a bladed article.
- Mohamed Yussuf, 24, of Marston Court, W7, charged 3 October with murder.
- Jose Morais, 24, of no fixed address, charged 3 October with murder.
All three remain in custody and are due to appear at the Old Bailey on Friday, 13 December.
Other Suspect Released
A 22-year-old man arrested on 24 September was bailed and later released with no further action to be taken.
