Blaze Breaks Out at Lewes Industrial Estate – Fire Crews in Action
Firefighters rushed to a fire on Lewes’ North Street Phoenix Industrial Estate yesterday afternoon. East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service were called at 3:36pm on 27 December 2019 following reports of a blaze.
Six Fire Engines Battle the Flames
By 4:20pm, six fire appliances were at the scene, working hard to control the fire. An aerial ladder platform was deployed to tackle the flames from above, giving crews the upper hand.
All Clear for Building Occupants
The building was thoroughly searched, and thankfully, everyone was accounted for with no reported injuries so far.
