Van Driver Flees Scene After Horrific Smash
A 30-year-old cyclist was struck by a van outside the BP Garage at around 10.30pm. The victim suffered potentially life-changing injuries in the crash. Shockingly, the van didn’t stop and fled the scene.
Suspect Nabbed Quickly After Public Appeal
Wiltshire Police launched a public appeal and swiftly arrested a suspect on suspicion of causing serious injury by reckless driving. The driver was also re-arrested for suspected drunk and drugged driving and remains in police custody.
