Teen Charged with Attempted Murder in Gravesend Stabbing
A man was stabbed in an alleyway near a railway bridge off Grange Road around 1 a.m. on Friday, 27 January 2023. The victim, in his forties, was rushed to hospital and remains in stable condition.
Police Arrest Teenage Suspect After Machete and Drugs Seized
Just days later, on Monday 30 January, officers arrested a 15-year-old boy near Christian Fields Avenue following a report of a suspicious person. A machete and class-A drugs were found during the stop.
Additional Arrests Made as Investigation Widens
- Two men and a woman were arrested at Gravesend addresses on Wednesday, 1 February.
- The Crown Prosecution Service charged the 15-year-old with attempted murder, crack cocaine possession with intent to supply, and two counts of carrying offensive weapons.
- Luke Samuel, 40, Muna Fuggles, 42, and Tyler Lucock, 18, have also been charged with attempted murder. Lucock faces an additional charge for cannabis possession with intent to sell.
All suspects appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court and are remanded to Maidstone Crown Court on 2 March.
