Drug Sting in Gravesend: Man Charged After Car Stop

Traffic Stop Sparks Drug Probe

Police nabbed a suspect in Gravesend after pulling over a Toyota Yaris on Old Road East on 4 November 2020 around 8.45pm. Officers had intel the occupants might be dealing drugs.

Four Arrested, One Charged

All four men in the car were arrested on suspicion of drug offences and taken to North kent-police/" title="Kent Police" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Kent Police Station. They were searched under the Misuse of Drugs Act, and cops found cash and two phones in the vehicle.

Casey Butler Faces Court

Casey Butler, 22, from Maple Road, Greater London, was charged with being concerned in supplying Class A drugs. He’s set to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on 6 November 2020.

Others Released but Probe Continues

  • 18-year-old man from Maidstone
  • 19-year-old man from [location missing]
  • 17-year-old boy from Rochester

These three were released pending further enquiries.
