Detectives have swooped again in the shocking killing of 24-year-old Drew Perham. The young man was found dead in Plymouth’s Millbay Marina on Sunday, 25 January, sparking a major crime investigation.
19-Year-Old Man Held on Murder Suspicion
On 28 January, police arrested a 19-year-old Plymouth man on suspicion of murder. He remains in custody as officers dig deeper into the case.
Two Other Suspects Released on Bail
- Earlier arrests saw two 19-year-olds—one from Plymouth, one from Exmouth—held on suspicion of murder.
- Both suspects were released on bail, pending ongoing investigations, until April.
Layton Randle Charged with Murder
Layton Randle, 19, from Oakfield Terrace Road, Plymouth, appeared at Plymouth Magistrates’ Court charged with Drew Perham’s murder. He was remanded in custody and will next face Plymouth Crown Court on 29 January.
