- Mixed Emotions: “Now that Grant has been found guilty, I don’t really know how I feel,” one victim said. “Part of me feels bad about Grant going to prison, but he did something so terrible it was unspeakable. His actions made me feel guilty and ashamed. It completely derailed my life.”
- No Sign of Remorse: Another survivor shared, “I should hate Grant for what he did and how he treated me. His lack of remorse is especially upsetting. But mostly, I feel sad. Sad that he chose to hurt, manipulate and intimidate others. He now has a chance to change and understand the damage he’s caused to victims, families, and the community.”
- Fighting Back: A third victim declared, “Every day is a step on my road to recovery. While I hope Grant owns up to what he’s done and changes, I’m focused on my future—my family, friends, and healing. Above all, I’m determined to get back to being me.”
