Herne Bay Bowling Club was targeted by a burglar who made off with alcohol, cash, food, and charity donations. The break-in happened between Tuesday, December 3 and Wednesday, December 4, 2019. The culprits cracked the premises on Spenser Road, stealing from the till and a charity box.
Burglar Charged Just in Time for Christmas
Police snapped up 27-year-old Michael Jones from Victoria Park, Herne Bay. On Tuesday, December 24, he was charged with burglary. Jones has been released on bail and is set to face Margate Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, January 23, 2020.
