Southampton Heroin Dealer Busted and Jailed for 7½ Years
Prince Jr Kroma, 28, from Newcombe Road, Southampton, was found guilty of supplying Class A heroin at Southampton Crown Court on June 1. However, he was cleared of charges related to supplying crack cocaine.
Jury Pins Down ‘Gucci Drug Line’ Boss
Kroma was caught after a police probe into Southampton’s drug networks in 2021. Officers arrested him on April 15 last year. Crucial evidence came from a mobile phone linking him to the notorious “Gucci drug line.”
Police Crack Down on Drugs and Crime
On June 10, Kroma was slammed with a seven-and-a-half-year prison sentence. Detective Constable Rob Harnett from Western Investigations said:
“By taking Kroma off the streets, we have removed one of the key players from Southampton’s drug supply chain.”
“Heroin destroys lives and fuels serious crime, including violence, exploitation of vulnerable children as drug runners, and drug dealers seizing homes for their operations.”
“This sentence sends a strong message: dealers will be found and brought to justice.”
