John Barrowman and Georgia Harrison Join Celebrity SAS 2024 Lineup

Channel 4’s Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins is back with a bang for its sixth series. The star-packed cast includes Torchwood actor John Barrowman and former Love Island star Georgia Harrison. This time, the brutal SAS winter warfare training takes place amid the harsh terrain of New Zealand’s South Islands.

No Second Chances: Tough SAS Rules Apply

The show’s format is ruthless. Contestants aren’t eliminated in rounds — they’re “culled” by the tough directing staff or must quit if the challenges break them. Only those who survive the brutal course are crowned winners.

Returning for a redemption mission is reality star Pete Wicks. Hurt by broken ribs in the 2022 series, Wicks is determined to prove his mettle this time. “After being medically withdrawn in Jordan, I felt like I hadn’t given it my best, and that bothered me. So when I got an opportunity to go back, I jumped in, and I would do it again,” he said.

Famous Faces Ready to Face the Heat (and Cold!)

  • Rachel Johnson, journalist and sister to ex-PM Boris Johnson, joins the battle. She praised the show: “This experience was much more than I was expecting. I mean, given how ghastly reality television can be, this was top-notch. Really top-notch.”
  • Other big names include:
  • Bianca Gascoigne – reality TV star
  • Chris Robshaw – former England rugby captain
  • Cherry Healey – TV presenter
  • Anthony Ogogo – boxer
  • Shazia Mirza – comedian
  • Bobby Norris – TOWIE star
  • Marnie Simpson – influencer
  • Ellie Downie – former Olympic gymnast
  • Tez Ilyas – comedian
  • Ovie Soko – professional basketball player
  • Lani Daniels – World Heavyweight Champion boxer

When and Where to Watch Celebrity SAS 2024

The brutal new series launches September 22 on Channel 4, airing Sundays and Mondays at 9 p.m. Chief instructor Billy Billingham leads the charge, backed by his fierce directing team including Jason “Foxy” Fox, Rudy Reyes, Chris Oliver, and former Special Forces psychologist Dr. Alia Bojilova.

Billingham warns: “From the very first second, the recruits will be expected to give 100%. Anyone not doing so will be gone before they have time to make their excuses.” Expect freezing cold, rain, mud, and relentless physical and mental challenges.

With a killer mix of actors, athletes, and reality stars, the 2024 run of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins promises edge-of-your-seat drama and real grit. Don’t miss it!
