Man Charged with Murder and More in Shocking Case

John Belfield has been hit with a slew of serious charges, including murder, conspiracy to murder, manslaughter, conspiracy to rob, and conspiracy to supply class A drugs. These charges follow the tragic death of Thomas Campbell, who was pronounced dead at the scene of a violent incident.

Three Sentenced for Thomas Campbell’s Death

Three others have already faced trial and been convicted for their roles in the death of Thomas Campbell:

  1. Reece Steven, 29, from Poplar Street, Middleton, was found guilty of murder with conspiracy to rob. He received a life sentence with a minimum of 37 years behind bars.
  2. Steven Cleworth, 38, from Charles Street, Heywood, convicted of manslaughter with conspiracy to rob. He was sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 12 years.
  3. Coleen Campbell, 38, from Bamford Street, Manchester, found guilty of manslaughter with conspiracy to rob. She was handed 13 years, with at least two-thirds to be served in prison.
