Southampton Drug Dealers Busted at McDonald’s Car Park
Southampton cops from the High Harm team nabbed two suspected Class A drug dealers parked outside a McDonald’s in Green Park, Millbrook on 3 October 2020.
Heroin and Crack Cocaine Found in Fiat Bravo
Officers spotted a grey Fiat Bravo believed to be linked to drug dealing in the McDonald’s car park. Upon searching the car and its driver, Kamal Gordon, they uncovered wraps of heroin and crack cocaine, plus a bit of cannabis. The drugs had a street value of around £400.
Cash and Phones Found on Passenger
The passenger, Romarn Birch, 24, from Hornsey Lane, Haringey, was located inside the fast-food outlet. Police found two mobile phones and £455 in cash on him during a frisk.
Justice Served: Sentencing Underway
- Kamal Gordon was charged with two counts of being involved in Class A drug supply and sentenced to five years and nine months behind bars at Southampton Crown Court on 29 June.
- Romarn Birch faces the same charges and is due back at court on 14 July for sentencing.
“Drugs supply is often linked to violent crime and the exploitation of vulnerable adults and children,” police said. “We are committed to a tough stance on drug dealing and urge the public to share any information to help keep our communities safe.”
