Police Hunt Man After PCSO Threatened in Whitstable

Kent Police have released a photo of a man linked to a shocking incident in Whitstable. The man may hold the key to their enquiries after a PCSO was threatened near the harbour.

Erratic Driver Sparks Drama

On Saturday 11 April 2020, around 4pm, a silver Volkswagen Bora was spotted driving dangerously near Whitstable Harbour. Two men stepped out of the car, and the passenger hurled threats at a PCSO before throwing a stone – missed by inches.

Suspects Flee But One Brought In

The pair fled the scene, but police later arrested one man nearby. Sam Brampton, 25, from Farrier Close, Herne Bay, now faces drink-driving charges. He’s due in Margate Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 28 May 2020.

Police Seek Public Help

The investigation is ongoing, and officers want to track down the man in the released image. Anyone with information should call Kent Police on 01843 222289, quoting reference 46/63344/20.
