Kent Police acted fast after a man was threatened with a knife and robbed on Darnley Road last Friday around 5pm. The victim lost his coat, phone, and cash in the brazen attack.

Officers quickly tracked suspects to a nearby property, swooping in to arrest six people in under an hour. The stolen items were all recovered, boosting police confidence.
Charged, Bailed & Facing Court
- Isaac-Andrew Candler, 19, of Darnley Road, charged with robbery and carrying a knife. He’s been remanded and will appear at Maidstone Crown Court on 16 February.
- A 17-year-old boy (name withheld) also charged with robbery and bailed to return to Medway Magistrates’ Court on 2 February.
- Two more men, 19 and 18, plus two other 17-year-olds, remain under investigation but have been bailed pending further enquiries.
