On Saturday 21 October, thieves swiped £130 worth of spirits from Sainsbury’s on Linden Park Road.

£570 Clothing Theft Foiled at Marks and Spencer

Just days later, on Tuesday 31 October, a man tried to nick clothes worth £570 from Marks and Spencer on Calverley Road. A sharp-eyed security guard caught him in the act, and the suspect fled the scene.

Parcels Stolen in Newton Road

The very next day, two parcels left by a delivery firm at different Newton Road addresses were reported stolen.

Police Nab Suspect After String of Thefts

Thanks to the hard work of the local neighbourhood policing team, Paul Fogel, 44, from Goods Station Road, Tunbridge Wells, was arrested on Saturday 4 November. Charged with three thefts and one attempted theft by the West Kent Victim Based Crime Team, he was remanded in custody to face Medway Magistrates’ Court on Monday 6 November.
