Shock as Two Held Over Armagh Murder
Stephanie McClelland, 36, and Andrea Stevenson, 43, faced Lisburn Magistrates’ Court over the brutal murder of 23-year-old Odhrán Kelly in Co Armagh. The grim discovery of Odhrán’s body beside a burning car on Edward Street stunned the local community early Sunday.
Charged with Assisting a Murderer
McClelland and Stevenson are accused of helping an offender dispose of Odhrán’s body, fully aware that a murder had been committed. Both women admitted they understood the gravity of the charges during the court hearing.
Remanded in Custody, Next Hearing Set
A PSNI detective sergeant presented evidence linking the pair to the crime. The court remanded McClelland and Stevenson in custody. Their next hearing is scheduled at Craigavon Magistrates’ Court via video link on December 15.
