Violent Pub Brawl in Headcorn: Two Hospitalised

A brutal attack at the George and Dragon pub in Headcorn has left two men seriously injured. The shocking incident unfolded at around 11.30pm on Thursday, 6 March 2025.

Attack Details: Victims Punched and Stomped

According to Kent Police, a group of men launched a late-night assault on two men aged in their 30s and 50s. One victim was punched to the ground and viciously stamped on, while the other sustained a heavy blow to the head. Both victims were rushed to hospital and have since been discharged after treatment.

Suspects Arrested and Charged

  • A 39-year-old man from Maidstone was arrested on 1 April on suspicion of assault but was later released on bail pending further enquiries.
  • Richard Roxburgh, 42, from Beech Gardens, Headcorn, was arrested on 9 April and charged with grievous bodily harm (GBH).

Roxburgh is currently remanded in custody and set to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on 9 May 2025.
