Southampton Man Busted for Spreading ISIS Terror Content Online
A 29-year-old from Southampton has been arrested and charged over allegations of pushing terrorist propaganda on social media. Abdullah Bellil faces serious terrorism-related charges after a probe by the Metropolitan Police’s Counter Terrorism Command.
Charges: Spreading Terrorist Material & Backing ISIS
- Bellil is charged with three counts of distributing terrorist publications on social media, violating the Terrorism Act 2006.
- He also faces one count of expressing support for ISIS, a proscribed terrorist organisation, under the Terrorism Act 2000.
The offences allegedly took place between July 2023 and October 2024.

Bellil was arrested at his home on Wednesday, December 18, and is set to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Friday, December 20.
