Ex-Teacher, 75, Charged with Shocking Child Sex Offences

Man Faces 46 Indecency Counts from 1970s

Timothy Ernest Edward Bleach, 75, from Hazel Walk, Broadway Park, Petersfield, has been hit with 46 charges involving indecent acts against six girls under 13. The alleged abuse took place during the 1970s in Hampshire.

Bleach, a former teacher at Weyford Junior School in Bordon, was charged on February 11, 2016. He has been bailed until March 15, 2016, when he is due to appear at South-East Hampshire Magistrates Court.

Operation Marmion Cracks Down on Historic Abuse

Hampshire Constabulary’s Operation Marmion is digging deep into non-recent child sexual exploitation (CSE) cases. This investigation is part of a national police action plan tackling CSE, alongside a local review requested by Police and Crime Commissioner Simon Hayes.

The review spans cases from 1997 to 2013, re-examining evidence and providing support for victims through partner agencies.
