Man Charged with Murder After Fatal Bexley Hit-and-Run
A man has been charged with murder following a hit-and-run collision in Bexley that left a young man dead.
Uran Nabiev Arrested
Uran Nabiev, 63, from Bexley, was arrested on Sunday, 10 November. By the evening of 11 November, he faced charges of murder and attempted murder. He is set to appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, 12 November.
Victim Dies Days After Crash
The tragic incident happened on Saturday, 19 October, on Bexley Road. A 26-year-old man was critically injured after the vehicle failed to stop, sparking a police murder probe.
The victim, named as Jake Kemp, 26, from Bexley, died in hospital on Thursday, 24 October. His family has been informed.
Other Injured, Cause of Death Revealed
A post-mortem on 30 October revealed Jake died from a brain injury. Another man, 33, involved in the same crash, suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
