Man Arrested for Camden Stabbing Murder
A 21-year-old man has been charged with murder after a stabbing in Camden left a 25-year-old man dead, police confirmed today.
Dylan Gan Faces Murder Charge
The Crown Prosecution Service has authorised a murder charge against Dylan Gan, 21, of Lithos Road, Camden. The charge relates to the death of Suleyman Nuh, 25.
Police were called at 4.27pm on Thursday, 29 January, following reports of a stabbing in Alvanley Gardens. Emergency services rushed Mr Nuh to hospital where he was critically injured.
Doctors declared Mr Nuh dead on Friday, 6 February. Life support was withdrawn on Monday, 9 February after it was clear he would not recover.
Additional Charges and Court Dates
Gan will appear at the Old Bailey on Monday, 2 March, to face the murder charge formally.
He was initially charged with attempted murder on 1 February while Mr Nuh was still in hospital. That charge was upgraded following the victim’s death.
Gan also faces charges for possession of a knife in public, possession of an offensive weapon in private, and possession of a Class B drug. He appeared at Highbury Magistrates’ Court on 2 February and remains in custody.
