Alvin Ghati Held Over Woman’s Death
Alvin Ghati, 43, from Uxbridge Road, Ealing, was charged with murder on Wednesday, 8 October. He is set to appear at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 9 October.
Grim Find in Riverside Close
Police rushed to a Riverside Close home in Ealing at around 3:15pm on Tuesday, 26 March after concerns for a woman’s safety. Emergency teams discovered 35-year-old Vivienne Baraka with severe injuries. Despite frantic efforts, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Neck Compression Confirmed as Cause of Death
The post-mortem report revealed Vivienne died from compression to the neck. Ghati was first arrested at the scene and later released under investigation. On 8 October, he was re-arrested and formally charged with murder.
