Man Charged After Woman Attacked in Portsmouth Robbery Attempt
A 45-year-old man appeared in court today accused of assaulting a woman during a robbery attempt in Portsmouth.
Attack on St Marys Road
The incident happened shortly after 11am on 9 November. The victim, a woman in her 50s, was attacked on St Marys Road by Christopher Scott Bryan, who allegedly tried to snatch money from her.
Remanded in Custody
Bryan, who has no fixed address, was charged with assault with intent to commit robbery. Police remanded him in custody to face Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court this morning.
