Knife-wielding thug nabbed for Gillingham amusement centre robbery

A 28-year-old man has been hit with six charges after robbing an amusement centre in Gillingham. The crime went down around 10:50am on Sunday, 16 February 2020, when a victim was threatened with a knife and money was stolen.

Man arrested and charged

Florjan Lleshi, from Ager Avenue, Dagenham, was arrested on Tuesday, 18 February. He faces charges of robbery and carrying a knife in public linked to the Gillingham incident.

Multiple offences spanning 2019

But that’s not all. Lleshi is also charged with two other robberies and two counts of possessing a knife during offences in Romford and Welling back in July 2019.

Court appearance and custody

Lleshi appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on 19 February. He was remanded in custody ahead of his next hearing at Maidstone Crown Court on 18 March.
