Crack and Heroin Haul Lands Man in Jail
A 24-year-old man from Rugeley has been locked up after police found over 80 deals of crack cocaine and heroin during a stop in East Staffordshire.
Raseante Spencer-Hamilton Sentenced
Raseante Spencer-Hamilton was handed a four-year prison sentence at Stafford Crown Court on Friday, 31 March. He admitted possession with intent to supply both heroin and crack cocaine.
Police Snare Drugs and Cash in Traffic Stop
The drama unfolded in February when officers spotted a suspicious Ford Fiesta on Fleet Street, Burton-on-Trent. Spencer-Hamilton was in the passenger seat when the search revealed 53 deals of crack cocaine and 33 deals of heroin in his pockets—worth around £1,590.

Detective Praises Proactive Policing
Spencer-Hamilton was arrested and later admitted the charges in court. He was also ordered to pay £187 in surcharge costs. The confiscated drugs are set to be destroyed.
“This just goes to show how effective proactive policing can be in targeting drug distribution within our communities,” said Detective Sergeant Jon Bradbury.
“Dedicated disruption teams are working hard to identify those cultivating and selling drugs in Staffordshire and are committed to putting a stop to them.”
