Paedo Lee Webster Jailed for 4½ Years Over Fake Teenage Chat Attempts
A pervert who tried to meet what he thought were three different teenage girls online has been locked up for four and a half years. Lee Webster, 32, homeless and on the run, was caught by Kent Police after trying to meet a teenage girl in Dartford back in March 2018.
Five Charges, Guilty Plea, Heavy Sentence
Police dug through his computer and found Webster had been trying to sexually communicate with and incite underage girls on five separate counts. He pleaded guilty to all charges and was sentenced at Maidstone Crown Court on August 10, 2018.
Police Warn: No Real Child Was Put at Risk
Detective Constable Darran Bassett said: “Webster is a serious threat to children, seeking to exploit them for his own sick pleasure. I welcome his sentence. In this case, he was chatting only with decoy accounts – no real children were endangered.”
“This sentence shows how seriously the courts and police take child exploitation. If anyone has info on similar offences, please call 101 so we can protect children and catch offenders.”
