Man Charged Over Orpington Bus Driver’s Death

A 20-year-old man has been hit with multiple driving charges following a deadly crash in Orpington that claimed the life of a bus driver.

Dorjan Cera, who has no fixed address, faced court on Friday, 20 May. The charges include:

  • Causing death by dangerous driving
  • Causing death while unlicensed
  • Causing death while uninsured
  • Seven counts of causing serious injury by dangerous driving

Virtual Court Appearance, Next Hearing Set

Cera appeared via virtual hearing at bromley/" title="Bromley" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Bromley Magistrates’ Court on the same day. He is due to appear in custody at Crown Court on Friday, 19 June.

More Charges Add Fuel to the Fire

Previously, Cera was charged through a postal requisition with driving without a valid licence, no insurance, and possession of a false document with intent to deceive.
