Heroic Rescue from Raging Waters at Netheravon

Emergency crews from Amesbury, Pewsey, and Trowbridge rushed to the scene last night after a man got trapped in fast-flowing water beneath the sluice gate at The Old Mill in Netheravon.

Public Spot Danger and Spring into Action

Passersby heard desperate cries for help and quickly found the man, securing him with a rope to stop him being swept away. Thanks to their quick thinking, firefighters and police arrived swiftly, using a ladder to haul the man up a steep bank to safety.

Paramedics Take Over After Brave Rescue

Once safe, the gentleman received immediate medical attention from South Western Ambulance Service staff before being rushed to hospital.
