Met PC Kane McKnight Charged with Multiple Sexual Crimes
PC Kane McKnight, part of the North Area command unit, was charged on Friday, 31 October, with a string of serious offences:
- Controlling and coercive behaviour
- Attempted sexual assault by penetration
- Attempted voyeurism
- Four counts of assault by penetration of a female
Alleged Crimes Spanning Nearly Ten Years
The alleged attacks, involving a single victim, reportedly took place between 2013 and 2022. McKnight was arrested in May 2022 and suspended from duty in July 2023 after initially being placed on restricted duties during the investigation.
Court Appearance Scheduled for December
PC McKnight is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, 23 December to answer the charges.
