Police Raid Uncovers Hundreds of Plants
Canterbury district’s Community Safety Unit swooped on a suspected drug den on Thursday 9 May 2024. Officers broke into the property and found hundreds of cannabis plants at various growth stages peppered across the site.
Equipment and Plants Seized, Investigation Underway
All the plants and growing gear were seized immediately. East Kent CID has launched a full-scale probe into the operation to uncover those behind the illegal crop.
Man Arrested Over Cannabis Cultivation
A 34-year-old man is now in custody, held on suspicion of cultivating cannabis. Enquiries are ongoing as police dig deeper into the case.
