Crackdown at Bromley and Bexley Courts: Offenders Sentenced
Several offenders faced justice at Bromley and Bexley Magistrates’ Courts on Friday, May 3, 2024. The cases ranged from weapon possession to assault and drug driving.
Teens and Adults Caught with Weapons and Drugs
Moureik Ebanks, 18, from Saints Close, Norwood, pleaded guilty to carrying a machete and possessing cannabis on March 15 in Lewisham’s Loampit Vale. He was handed a one-year community order, including 60 hours of unpaid work.
Assault and Restraining Order for Woolwich Man
Terry Whittle, 54, of Wellington Street, Woolwich, admitted assaulting a woman on April 11. Whittle received a community order and was slapped with a restraining order to keep him away from the victim.
Drug Driving in Lewisham Lands Fine and Ban
Kelvin Nunez Valenzuela, 36, from Brightfield Road, Lewisham, pleaded guilty to drug driving and possessing cannabis on October 16. The court banned him from driving for one year and fined him £120.
