Man Dies After Hit-and-Run on Warwick Road

Police were called at 4.26am on New Year’s Day after a car collided with a pedestrian near Warwick Road Underground Station.

A man in his 40s was rushed to hospital but later died. He has been named as 49-year-old Paul Campbell from Earl’s Court. His family have been informed and are receiving support from specialist officers.

Driver Flees Scene – Two Arrested

The driver failed to stop after the crash. Police later arrested two 23-year-old men on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and failing to stop. Both have been interviewed and released under investigation.

Police Appeal for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage

Detectives from the Met’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit are urging anyone who saw the incident or has dashcam footage to come forward.
