Terrifying Attack on Delivery Drivers in Swindon Street
Two young men on a routine delivery faced a brutal assault in Swindon on the evening of November 26. Around 7pm, the pair, both in their 20s, pulled up at Mattocks Path – only to be ambushed by a gang of masked teens.
Masked Teens Launch Violent Attack
The group of five to eight boys, all dressed from head to toe in black with face coverings, surrounded the vehicle. Some rode electric and pedal bikes. They smashed a window using a metal rod and began shouting aggressive threats.
One of the men was struck with the metal rod, sustaining serious injuries. He was rushed to hospital with initial fears of a broken collar bone. Thankfully, no bones were broken, but he now faces specialist treatment for hearing loss in his right ear.
Possible Linked Incident Earlier That Night
Just before the assault, police received a report of a separate attack nearby in Pipers Way, where a group of teenage boys punched a car’s wing mirror. Authorities are investigating whether the two incidents are connected.
