Man Shot in East London Morning Attack
Detectives are hunting witnesses after a shooting on White Hart Lane, Romford, in east London.
Gunfire Rocks Romford at Dawn
Police were called at 7.13am on Wednesday, 14 October, following reports of gunfire.
Officers found a man in his mid-30s with a gunshot wound to his leg. He was rushed by ambulance to a nearby east London hospital. Thankfully, his injuries aren’t life-threatening.
Crime Scene Active as Officers Probe Motive
The area remains sealed off while Trident detectives from the Specialist Crime Command lead the investigation.
No arrests have been made yet. Detectives are keen to hear from anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious around the time of the shooting.
