Tragic Crash in Stock: Teen Killed, Another Critically Injured
A fatal collision shocked the Stock community yesterday morning. At around 8:20am, emergency services rushed to Stock Road after a car hit two teenage boys.
Tragically, a 15-year-old boy died at the scene. His family has been informed and is receiving support from specialist officers.
Suspect Arrested and Released Under Investigation
Another teenage boy was rushed to hospital and remains in critical condition.
A 23-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing death and serious injury by dangerous driving, as well as driving under the influence of drink or drugs. He has since been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
“This tragic incident has had a huge impact on the community,” said Detective Inspector Mark Fraser from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit.
“Our detectives are reviewing dashcam footage and CCTV to piece together exactly what happened. We urge anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam recordings to come forward.”
