Man Charged with Murder After Fatal Blunt-Force Attack in HA5
Two Men Held Over Brutal Killing
Andrej Kolecki, 60, from Chaplin Road, Cricklewood, was arrested on Sunday, 26 February. He quickly faced murder charges the very next day.
Kolecki appeared at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on Monday afternoon, 27 February, before being remanded in custody to face the Old Bailey on Wednesday, 1 March.
Victim Dies at Scene After Police Called
The drama unfolded at 10:34pm on Monday, 20 February, when the Ambulance Service alerted police to an injured man inside a property on Howards Close, HA5.
Officers rushed to the scene alongside paramedics. Despite their efforts, 48-year-old Rafal tragically died there and then.
Police confirmed Rafal’s next of kin have been informed and are receiving specialist support.
Blunt Force Trauma Confirmed as Cause of Death
A post-mortem revealed Rafal succumbed to multiple blunt-force injuries.
Jakub Molga, 25, also known as Leon Pedrycz, from Romford Road, E7, was charged with murder on Saturday, 27 February. He will join Kolecki at the Old Bailey hearing on 1 March.
